A large equipment manufacturer
The president of a competitor company informed the client that a computer CDR containing the client company's customer lists, customer equipment order information, and internal pricing models and details was mailed to him. The disc was accompanied by a typewritten note indicating malice toward the client's corporate leadership. Later that day, another competitor called to indicate that they had also received a disc.
