Our Founder

SunBlock Systems, an SBA Certified 8(a) company, was founded in 2002 by David Sun. Before founding the company, Mr. Sun worked for several years with leading investigative firms as an expert in computer forensics and electronic evidence acquisition. In response to the growing need for electronic evidence in investigation and litigation, Mr. Sun founded SunBlock Systems to help attorneys, investigators, and corporations use computer forensics to support litigation

Mr. Sun has more than 15 years of experience in the information technology, engineering, and research fields, previously holding positions at BroadBand Office and UUNet (MCI/Worldcom) as well as performing technical consulting to Bell Atlantic, NYNEX and Pacific Telesis. He earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Mr. Sun is currently an adjunct professor at George Mason University where he teaches courses in Computer Forensics for their Information Technology and Administration of Justice departments.

The SunBlock Systems team consists of technology experts trained in proper electronic evidence acquisition and handling techniques. Together they have participated in hundreds of confidential investigations for high-profile cases in the United States and abroad. The team holds technical certifications, including CISSP, CCE, and MCSE, ensuring an understanding of computer security best practices and state-of-the-art techniques. Our technology experience spans data communications and telecommunications, computer applications, data encryption, enterprise architecture, software development, and convergence networks (e.g., VoIP).
